Sai Baba Sansthan is located in Sector – 6 near the TV tower. Daily aartis at morning 5.30 Kakar Aarti, 6.30 Abhishek Aarti, 12.00 Noon Dhoop Aarti, at evening 6.00 p.m. Sandhya Aarti and 9.00 pm Shez Aarti are performed. A special aarti is performed every Thursday 8.00 p.m.
Tata Steel- Tata Steel wants to set up a steel plant with a capacity of 2-3 million tonnes at an investment of up to Rs. 14,000 crore in Bokaro along with SAIL. The jointly owned plant is proposed to come up on a 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) plot of land that belongs to SAIL.
The Senapati Cricket Stadium is situated behind the Mohankumar Mangalam Stadium, in front of the Bokaro Library. It has hosted some Ranji Cup and state level matches. The base camp for the National Women Cricket team was organized at the stadium. It is managed by BSL.
Private cars and taxi facilities are available everywhere in the city. Other transport is trekkers, autos, rickshaws and mini buses. The city boasts of one of the most well maintained roads in the whole state as maintenance is under the authority of the Steel Plant.
Bokaro Ispat Pustakalaya, located near Bokaro Hotel, has a collection of over 40,000 books (including some valuable manuscripts) that meets the reading requirements of the people in the township. It is managed by the management of the steel plant.
Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd Monnet, which signed an MoU on February 5, 2003, has identified 1,300 acres (5.3 km2) for its project. Monnet Ispat will invest over Rs 14,000 crore for the project and is also building a 280-mW power plant.
The SAIL Football Academy nourishes football from school level and provides free education to students who perform well in football. Bokaro school teams participate every year in Subroto Cup and have emerged as winners on many occasions.
Gayatri Mandir is located in Sector-9/A. People visit the place during the morning and evening for the daily prayer. Navmi puja at Gayatri mandir is also famous. Khichri is distributed as the prasad on the occasion of Navmi puja.
Bokaro Jaypee Cement Limited (BOJCL), the second joint venture between the Jaypee group and SAIL with management control vested in the Company, is incorporated to set up a 2.1 MTPA capacity cement plant at Bokaro Steel City.
Two cooling ponds have been built for use in steel making. A dam on river Garga has been built to supply water to the township as well as the steel plant, but due to ever increasing demand Tenughat dam is supplementing it.
The Trainees Hostel Ground accommodates local and guest players. The lodging facility is provided by Trainees hostel No.1 and No.2. Hostel 1 provides a facility for sporting events such as weightlifting, and basketball.
The Railway Stadium is situated near Bokaro station in the Balidih area. It is managed by Indian Railways and hosts athletics and football. Accommodation facilities for the players is provided at a nearby hostel.
Jagannath Temple, located in Sector-4, is a newly built temple. The temple is a replica of the famous temple in Puri, Orissa. The rath yatra is celebrated here very beautifully. It is also a sight for visiting.
Bokaro Sangeet Kala Academy in Sector-4(beside YMCA) offers learning opportunities in fine art, especially classical music. The students also get opportunities to showcase their talent and training.

BPSCL become a joint venture of SAIL and Domodar Valley Corporation (DVC) on acquisition of shares by DVC. DVC and SAIL agreed to participate in the equity share of BPSCL in 50:50 ratio.
